Yoga
An ancient spiritual practice yoga has been around over 5000 years.
Yoga seeks to stimulate and balance the chakras, the seven energy points within your body. It is said that chakras affect how you perceive reality and have an impact on your mental and physical wellbeing.
Pilates
In the 1900s, Joseph Pilates, a physical trainer developed Contrology.
Contrology is a form of exercise intended to help rehabilitate injured dancers and athletes. This is achieved by correcting muscular imbalances, improving strength, stability, as well as flexibility. When Joseph died, Pilates became the new name for Contrology.

I am a motivated and passionate yoga instructor with a desire to guide and connect students through conscious exploration of mind, body and breath. I create a safe space to build effective relationships with students of all ages and backgrounds. To inspire them to unearth their healthiest selves and discover inner peace. I believe yoga is for everyone there is no judgement or expectation within my class.
I teach Vinyasana, Hatha and mediatation.

Art Class
Our 14-week art courses for complete beginners and improvers consist of four modules which cover the most widely used mediums in art.
Our course structure is progressive and tuition develops, week-on-week. As you work your way through our syllabus, we build on teachings from previous classes. This ensures that your artistic skills grow as you go on.
Our returning students also go on to explore new projects and other mediums.
Emma Stevens
Pilates and Movement Specialist
Emma is a Pilates & Movement Specialist. She specialises in helping people with back pain, posture correction, core strengthening and hypermobility.
Emma started practising Pilates over 10 years ago. She struggled with debilitating back and hip pain, caused by Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. After trying every painkiller and intervention the medical profession could offer, Emma found Pilates and it changed everything, giving her back her life, movement and health again. She is now passionate about helping others through Pilates. Emma is Level 3 Pilates Matwork, Pilates with Small Equipment, Pilates for Common Orthopedic Conditions and Level 4 Advanced Mat Pilates trained.

Katy Broomfield
Yoga
Katy has trained with the British Wheel of Yoga (500) hours and is an advanced yoga instructor, with 20 years’ experience in teaching. She runs private classes from the yoga studio she set up in 2021 and is also certified in Prenatal yoga, Yin yoga with Norman Blair, Thai Yin, Gentle Years Yoga for the elders, and Meditation. She is also a BWY Foundation course instructor and has completed the foundation in Yoga Therapy. Her latest training is linking her M.A. art with a foundation M.A. in psychotherapy.
Katy takes a slow approach in her yoga classes with a focus on good alignment, she creatively weaves breathwork and props to modify postures to suit everyone. Her classes are deep, fun, and experiential.

I firmly believe two things about the practice of yoga: firstly, that if you yoga today, you can yoga tomorrow, and secondly, that yoga helps you de-stress so your body can work optimally.
Through my certification and practice, I also learned yoga is ideal to compliment all other exercise regimes. My students tell me how much yoga has improved their results. Runners, cyclist, and more are welcomed.
I hold my Yoga Alliance teaching certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga.
As a Bromley local for over 20 years, I understand our community and how my individual-focused approach to yoga suits a range of students. So whether you are new to yoga, returning to yoga or currently practicing, you will find my approach unique to Bromley.

I have been passionate about fitness throughout my life. It was this passion that enabled me to create a path within the leisure industry. I teach a number of disciplines with gyms across London. As well as personal training, I focus mainly on shaping and toning the mind and body. Wellbeing is so important and exercise is one way of making a person feel great about themselves, both mentally and physically. Music, personality and understanding what the client wants and needs is so important during a session, whether it’s in a class setting or a personal training session. I am here to make to look and feel great!

LMJ Dance was created in March 2023 by professionally trained dancer Leonie Molly Jones. At 16, Leonie took her dance A-Level at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance. Her formal training began at 18 when she was accepted onto the BA(Hons) in Theatre Dance course at London Studio Centre, specialising in contemporary dance! After three years of intense training, with industry professionals, she graduated with a first class honours degree! Since graduating Leonie has been teaching dance full time at dance schools in and around South-East London, spreading her love of dance to the younger generation of dancers and adult learners. Leonie has performed on prestigious stages such as Sadler's Wells and The Piccadilly Theatre!

My name is Mark and I am a qualified exercise specialist within the Borough of Bromley. I specialise in supporting people with cardiac issues and also keeping the senior people of Bromley fit and healthy no matter what age.
I am qualified at Advanced level 4 British Association for Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Prevention.
I have been apart of the fitness industry since 2006. This is when I first trained for my level 3 personal training certificate. My vision has always been to keep people fit and healthy no matter what age or health conditions they may have while also keeping it fun.
I'm passionate about the work I do and the people I support - over the years I have not just gained many new clients but also created a fitness family and I am so proud of every single one of them.

Sue Smith is a Certified British Wheel of Yoga teacher of 30 years standing. Her work as a Psychotherapist brings management of the mind and emotions into her teaching.
Along with Yoga for The 3rd Age training, Susan recently qualified as a Qigong teacher, a training that is ongoing and she is keen to share this knowledge with her students.
The ancient Eastern Yoga and Qigong practices build good health and strength, develop flexibility and resilience and enhance wellbeing and vitality. Suitable for all ages the practice is a wonderful way to improve concentration, balance, stability and better co-ordination as we learn to move in a relaxed way, we can discover an inner sense of peace and tranquility. As one student put it “It’s like finding your way home."

I am starting 6 weeks ‘Strength and Conditioning Courses’ with 6 – 10 people on each course, allowing me to design the training giving specific help. Each week will be progressive, so you clearly benefit and feel the results by week 6.

Ann is a certified British Wheel of Yoga Diploma holder and is also trained in Yin yoga and Seniors yoga. She has been teaching for more than 20 years and her style has developed into a deep, slow vinyasa flow with much attention to alignment and breathing. She uses props and modifications to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for every body.

I have been on a transformative journey through Sound healing for the past year. As a practitioner, I have delved into the healing power of sound vibrations to bring balance and harmony to the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to my expertise in Sound healing, I am also Reiki Level 1 trained, allowing me to channel universal life force energy for holistic healing. I am dedicated to guiding others on their path to wellness and inner peace through the art of sound and energy healing.

I was first introduced to dancing through the chakras in 2011, whilst living and running a yoga & meditation retreat in the hills of Northern Thailand. I was hooked!
More recently, I have received my diploma in Chakra Dancing and Creative Meditation. As well as the UK, I have facilitated classes in Thailand, India and Spain.
Chakra Dancing, although guided, is a free-form, meditative work-out for the mind, body and spirit. As we release stuck energy, we balance our seven chakras with resonating music.
Everyone is welcome ... no steps to learn ... just pure fun ... dancing into stillness.

Lisa is a qualified Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher bringing 20 years knowledge and experience to her teaching. Having initially qualified as a Personal Trainer, Lisa found a love for Yoga, whilst going through some challenging life circumstances and feeling the need to add something a little calmer and connected into her week. allowing her to restore both physically and emotionally. Having taught Yoga for 12 years now, Lisa teaches with a real creativity to her sequencing and uses detailed alignment cues to help her students feel safe and supported through the practice. More recently, Lisa has developed her own unique style of Yoga called ‘Stroga’, which is a programme of flexibility, strength and mobility, based on the fundamentals of Yoga, but designed specifically with the needs of athletes in mind. I am an Animal Flow coach and personal trainer working with clients to attain their health and fitness goals. I love a wide variety of training modalities, though my passion lies with Animal Flow.
Animal Flow compliments so many other aspects of fitness and often ‘fills the gaps’ with other activities to improve body awareness, flexibility, strength, balance, and proprioception.
Animal Flow is a creative ground-based movement that uses your bodyweight to create a fun, challenging workout.
Within my six week course we will cover the six components of Animal Flow and incorporate flows in every session, progressing towards the understanding of all Level 1 moves by the end of the course. After this there will be the opportunity to progress and practice in future classes.
I always teach with a professional attitude and focus on the integrity and correct technique for moves, however there is always room for fun!
I will always tailor moves to allow for all abilities. With Animal Flow you can have people of all abilities performing the same moves but the focus and intention can be completely different for each individual.
During the classes, I encourage interaction and any questions. (often someone else is probably thinking the same thing!).
I am a Regional Leader in the UK for Animal Flow and also offer Masterclasses to other fitness professionals.

My yoga path, after many years of self-practice, led me to India, where I met fantastic teachers in Hatha and Vinyasa Style.I happily completed 200h Yoga Teacher Training accredited by the Yoga Allowance in Goa. Followed by Well Woman Yoga Therapy Course organised by Uma Dinsmore -Tuli & Siva Mata based London course.It was a life-changing experience leading me into a completely new territory of yoga practice, honouring and nurturing the feminine cyclical nature.
Over the years, I gained clarity that supporting and nurturing wellness through yoga practice and Sound Healing is part of my journey bringing me a sense of fulfillment and pure happiness.
I am also a Usui Reiki and Ayurveda Massages practitioner happy to share my experience in those areas.
